The California League of Conservation Voters supports a new measure that is intended to slow the increase in emissions of heat-trapping gasses by encouraging housing close to job sites, rail lines, and bus stops to shorten the time people spend in their cars.
The New York League of Conservation Voters endorsed Don Barber for state Senate on Thursday.
