The internet: fun AND useful

The Environmental Protection Agency will hold a hearing on Thursday to determine whether or not to overturn a Bush era decision that refused California's request for the right to limit carbon emissions standards for cars and trucks sold in that state. 14 other states have followed California's lead. With this decision, the EPA can make 40% of America's cars and trucks more efficient.

The Sierra Club has put together a new online petition - take a minute to let the EPA know that you want cleaner cars.

Meanwhile:
The National Wildlife Federation wants to know: "Who will be the next Senator from Minnesota and when will he be seated?" Come on all you political prognosticators, play Seat the Senator and show the pundits who's boss.
