LCV in the News

The Wisconsin League of Conservation Voters held a listening session at the University of Wisconisn Marathon County campus that drew concerned residents who wanted to dsicuss pressing environmental concerns.

Ashwin Madia, who is running in the Minnesota 3rd, held a press conference yesterday to announce that LCV endorsed him.

New York League of Conservation Voters traveled to Middletown Tuesday to interview local candidates for state Assembly and Senate who are seeking the League’s endorsement.

The California League of Conservation Voters is sponsoring a state bill that would give local government incentives to build more compact neighborhoods and provide more transportation alternatives.

LCV spokesman David Sandretti says that “there is a growing consensus among people about the environment and our future,” in an article discussing how environmental concerns are climbing higher on political issues list.
