Massachusetts Environmental Community Touts Legislative Success

Today members of the Mass Green Agenda, comprised of 10 major environmental advocacy organizations, including the Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters, applaud the legislature for passing major environmental and energy bills this legislative session. Of the six Mass Green Agenda priorities, four of them were passed.

“The public has demanded action to protect our environment and our health and clearly
the legislature has listened. We are excited that the legislature has led the nation on clean energy, global warming, and land protection this year,” said Lora Wondolowski, Executive Director of the Massachusetts League of Environmental Voters. “We look forward to Governor Patrick signing into law the bills that were passed in the last few days.”
