LCV in the News

League of Conservation Voters' Legislative Director Tiernan Sittenfeld in an article with E Magazine expresses concern over global warming, and voices frustration at certain members’ of congress obstruction to important climate change legislation.

LCV President Gene Karpinkski claims that McCain’s energy package “will continue the failed policies of the Bush Administration and their Big Oil friends.”

Republican Blogger believes League of Conservation Voters’ “Top Ten Reasons to Vote for Obama/Biden” best explains why to choose the Obama/Biden ticket this fall.

John McCain, who earned a 24% lifetime LCV score for his global warming policies, and his running mate Sarah Palin promise little in the way of environmental reform.

LCV-endorsed Tom Udall is up by eight points against his opponent Steve Pearce in the latest poll. Pearce earned an abysmal 1% lifetime environmental score from the LCV.
