LCV in the News

Bob Schaffer, a member of LCV’s “Dirty Dozen,” is being targeted by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, who began running a new television ad highlighting Schaffer’s ties to Big Oil.

The League of Conservation Voters endorsed Walt Minnick in his race against Repubican Bill Sali in one of the nation’s reddest districts.

Independent groups such as LCV and political parties to help determine demographic information use Catalist, a database that collects and stores millions of pieces of information from public records and commercial sources. This election cycle, Barack Obama is finding the database particularly helpful.

The Connecticut League of Conservation Voters recently issued their annual Environmental Scorecard, giving voters their legislator’s voting records on environmental bills.
