LCV in the News

A New York Geologist warns that hydraulic fracturing –a process that has been denounced by the League of Conservation Voters and other environmental groups –can contaminate drinking water and make it unsafe for human consumption.

Kate Troll of the Alaska Conservation Voters calls Sarah Palin’s record on the environment and global warming “weak.”

The California League of Conservation Voters and other environmental organizations support “Measure Q,” a ballot measure for the SMART passenger bicycle-pedestrian pathway that will help reduce global warming and provide an economical alternative to freeway congestion.
